100th roberts settlement homecoming
We hope to see you at our 100th Roberts Settlement Homecoming, June 29 – July 2, 2023, in Atlanta, Indiana! As always, we believe you’ll have a great time AND have the opportunity to learn more about our family history and legacy. We look forward to engaging newcomers and reminiscing with family and old friends during this very special event.
As this is an important milestone in our history as well as the history of Hamilton County, you will notice a few changes this year that are detailed below. But in brief:
As this is an important milestone in our history as well as the history of Hamilton County, you will notice a few changes this year that are detailed below. But in brief:
- The Board of Trustees is asking descendants to make their annual giving contribution (regardless of plans to attend Homecoming) in advance of the Homecoming weekend. We anticipate a large gathering and need your help to replenish our operating bank funds for what we’re having to outlay. Separate from our Legacy Walk fund, our operating budget covers ongoing operational expenses that we incur all year long for the chapel, cemetery, and grounds. In addition to the homecoming, we have utilities, insurance, grounds-keeping, maintenance, repairs, supplies, postage, etc.
- We have a deadline of JUNE 7 for:
- Your annual giving contribution
- Your RSVP for a catered meal
- Your RSVP for the Friday golf outing
- To order a commemorative 100th Homecoming t-shirt
- In support of Hamilton County’s Bicentennial, we have added a very special program Thursday, June 29th sponsored by Indiana Humanities.
- Please note that the schedule of activities has been slightly modified to allow for special activities associated with this 100th Homecoming. Please plan on arriving by 10:30am on Saturday, July1 to be included in the Homecoming group photo.
NOW FOR THE DETAILS!
